Wedding fayres, Rolls Royce’s and nice weather!
Hello my lovely readers!
Well, the mild weather has meant that I have managed to pop on my trainers and nip out for a jog on a couple of occasions over the last month in preparation for the Race for Life & Great North run later this summer.
I am really lucky, as I can literally step out the front door, and be running in the countryside, with very little traffic to worry about, I think I’m probably running around 10km at the moment, so on schedule of completing half a marathon.
Unfortunately my mum has had a virus so will be joining me next week instead. I’m looking forward to us both going out for a run together, fingers crossed that it keeps dry, I cannot think of anything worse than running in the rain!
On my last blog I mentioned that I was hoping to hear from Sue at the Hallmark Hotel. Well I had a lovely day at the Hallmark Wedding Fayre, primarily helping David, Heather and their son Zach, from Silver Lady Cars, they have the most beautiful vintage Rolls Royce’s cars, just stunning!!
Everyone at the venue was very kind; it was lovely to meet lots of new people from the hotel and various stall holders, hopefully be provided with the opportunity to be involved in further organised events later in the year!
I’m hoping to hear from Steven at Eden Valley Hospice in the next few days, so will report any news in my next blog in the next couple of weeks along with an update on another wedding fayre at the Rheged Centre which is happening in Penrith.
Well, will be in touch again soon!
Love Charlotte xx
