So Much To Do… So Little Time
This week has been yet another very busy week, I’ve been trying to juggle working full time at the Aqua Sana, Center Parcs with preparations for the Miss England finals which are now less than two weeks away – it’s unbelievable just how fast the finals have come around!!
The week began with a photo shoot for the amazing Jennie Ferguson’s Designs of Penrith.
This was an absolute privilege as the jewellery is so beautiful and Jennie is amazing to work with, she even gave me some beautiful earrings to keep after the shoot!!
Jennie’s website is about to launch very soon so keep your eyes peeled for her fabulous designs!
Later in the week I went to get my evening dress for the Miss England grand finale from the Dress Studio…it was such a hard decision with so many beautiful dresses to choose from but I’m positive I made the right choice! I’m not giving away any secrets just yet…so do make sure you check back to see pictures of my beautiful gown after the finals!
I have also been putting the finishing touches to my “eco outfit” for the finals!
I’m SO excited to show you all my creation so once again check back after the finals for some pictures!
I need to say a huge thank you to my Mum and Dad for all of their help with it! I never knew you could fit three people around one sewing machine but somehow we managed!
And finally….I’ve been cramming in some last minute fitness training hitting the gym this week all ready for the fitness boot camp at the Miss England finals!
I must say that I’ve never felt so healthy and strong! It really is true that exercise makes you feel happy.
This is a rather rushed blog this week as I’ve still so much to do in preparation for the finals.
So much to do…so little time! It’s all great fun and a great experience though.
I’m off to bed now as I’ve another photo shoot in the morning for Carlisle Living magazine so I will bid you all farewell and I can’t wait to fill you in on what exciting things I will have been doing next week!
What I’m loving this week…
Hutton in the Forest at twilight!
It’s such a beautiful house and gardens at any time of the day but framed by twilight it really is a picture not to be missed.
You can have a look for yourself and take a tour of the house and or gardens and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea in the Cloisters Tea Room.
Hutton is open from 12.30am-4pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
What I’m hating this week…
How much my muscles are hurting from my gruelling training, I’m sure it will be worth it in the end…no pain, no gain…right?!
