Miss Cumbria supports the children Eden Valley Hospice.
This week has been quiet compared to last week; however, I have been focusing on buying Easter eggs for the children at the hospital and Eden Valley Hospice.
There are sixty-six children altogether who are currently unwell. I have purchased thirty six eggs thus far, with the money kindly donated by Tesco, so a shortfall of around thirty eggs.
Fortunately, though, I have a brilliant family and a close network of friends who all loved the idea and have jumped on board with the project and have started donating money, I shall be buying the remaining eggs probably tomorrow evening.
I’m off College for the next two weeks which gives me plenty of time to have a look at events I wish to be involved in for the forthcoming year, as well as continuing training for a couple of my races which I have now made a fundraising page for: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/CharlotteBacon donations will be split in half between Eden Valley Hospice and Beauty with a Purpose, if you would like to donate please type in this web address and make a donation.
Eden Valley Hospice is a charity I have just started helping out with and is already very important to me as well as many other people in my local community.
The other charity I wish to be significantly involved with is ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ which is directly associated with Miss England and Miss Word and once again helps out with humanitarian projects across the world, so two very worthwhile charities which can make a difference to so many people both locally and nationally.
I have just returned from a quiet evening out celebrating my Nan’s seventy eighth birthday, and am really looking forward to a cup of tea, and a chat before turning in for the night, here’s looking forward to catching up again soon, with hopefully some news and an update on the events over Easter!
all my love
